My work consists of paper—any type of paper! I am also very enthusiastic about repurposing things made of paper that would otherwise be placed in the trash. I am constantly on the lookout to save a book, a magazine, or my personal favorite---music sheets!  I also include in my art objects found in nature that I pick up walking in neighborhoods, the beach, or the woods.  As a result, art emerges in the form of handmade books, sculptural altered books, and Scherenschnitte/Papercutting. Utilizing all my finds I use X-acto knives, drills, hammers, glue, sewing machine, needle and thread…. I am always searching and pushing the limits using contradictory methods when making art.
