In this two part class students will first learn how to create paper by using recycled paper—newspaper, junk mail…developing an understanding of papermaking and the use of equipment. In the second half of the class students will make paper using materials made from plants.  Students will leave the class with a variety of paper and papermaking techniques and an understanding of the history of papermaking.
